Setting up a custom app welcome message

When staff open the app for the first time they will receive a welcome message. This article will show you how to customise the message.

Setting up a custom message to welcome new staff to the app is really easy! This short step-by-step guide will show you how to set this up in your portal.

Step 1: Head to the 'Settings' section of your portal:

Step 2: Now click on 'App Settings':

Step 3: In this screen, you can edit the message and sender. Simply click in the "Wording for message" box to edit the welcome message. As you edit this message, an example of your new message will appear on the phone screen displayed on the right:

Step 4: Enter the name of the person who you would like the message to appear from:

Step 5: Upload a photo of the sender by clicking on 'UPLOAD' and selecting an image from your computer. The maximum dimensions for the image are 300x300px and the file size must be no greater than 2 MB:

Step 6: Your chosen photo will now be displayed on both the portal and the app!

Your app welcome screen will now have been updated and all new users will see this great personalised message when they login to the app for the first time.
