There are a few instances where you may need to remove points from an app user, these can include:
A candidate who doesn't meet the scheme rules
Sharing which is not in line with the scheme rules
Bonus points awarded in error
Removing points - a step-by-step guide:
Step 1: Have a conversation with your app user to explain why you need to remove points and remind them of the scheme rules. This should be a positive conversation with app user engagement in mind.
Step 2: Head into the 'app users' section in the left-hand menu of your portal. Then click on 'manage' in the top tabs:
Step 3: Search for the app user who you would like to remove points from, by entering their name into the search box and pressing enter.
Step 4: Click on the 3 dot menu icon to the right of the app user's name. Click on 'remove points':
Step 5: Select the points you would like to remove, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Next'
Step 6: Select the reason for removing points from the drop-down list:
Step 7: Select 'confirm'. An 'Are you sure' message box will appear > select 'confirm' if you are sure you would like to remove the points.
The points will be removed from the app user's account and they will receive a notification similar to the example below.
That's it! You've successfully removed points from an app user.
