How to create and share a 'magic' invite link that allows staff to authorise themselves to use the app

Create an invite link and share it with your new starters to allow them to register themselves for the app. They will then be able to download the app and log in for the first time.

Along with sending this invite link to staff, it can also be incorporated into the process for new starters:

  • Send the link to HR personnel who do not have access to the admin portal so that they can add new starters to the system without requiring access.

  • Include the invite link in your welcome pack for those who have accepted a job offer, or have started work with you, so that they can start referring their friends right away. Click HERE (UK and ROI) or HERE (AUS) for an intro template

How to create an invite link - a step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Head to the app users area of the portal and then click on the 'manage' tab:

Step 2: Click on 'Add invitees':

Step 3: Select 'Invite link' from the list:

Step 4: Click on the copy icon:

Here's what your new app users will see when they click the link:

When they enter their contact details and click submit, they will be taken to a page with links to download the app:

Their details will then display under the manage tab in the app users area of the portal and they will be able to log into the app using the details they have submitted.

Anyone who has this link will be able to register to join the app. If you want to create a new link at any time, you can do this by repeating steps 1-3 above and then clicking on 'delete and generate new link'.

💡Top Tip! Can't see 'Delete and generate new link'? Only users with Manage account settings permissions can view this, so please speak to your line manager for help with this.

⚠️Please note: The old link will no longer be active and those who try to use it will be advised to contact their manager.
