It is now possible to create an invite link that can be shared with staff and allows them to add their own details to the system so that they can then download and use the Care Friends app.
Along with sending this invite link to staff, it can also be incorporated into the process for new starters:
Send the link to HR personnel who do not have access to the admin portal so that they can add new starters to the system without requiring access.
Include the invite link in your welcome email to those who have accepted a job offer so that they can start referring their friends right away
How to create an invite link - a step-by-step guide:
Step 1: Head to the app user area of the portal and then click on the 'manage' tab:
Step 2: Click on 'Add invitees':
Step 3: Select 'Invite link' from the list:
Step 4: Click on the copy button:
You can now share this link via any communication channels.
When the link is clicked, your new app user will be asked for their key contact details:
When they click submit, they will be taken to a page with links to download the Care Friends app:
Their details will then display under the manage tab in the app users area of the portal:
Anyone who has this link will be able to register to join Care Friends. If you want to create a new link at any time, you can do this by repeating steps 1-3 above and then clicking on 'delete and generate new link'.
Please note: The old link will no longer be active and those who try to use it will be advised to contact their manager.
