Are you sharing jobs with friends and accumulating points every month but noticed that your balance has stopped increasing? This article will run through some things to consider.
1. Does your organisation award points for sharing?
All point settings are managed by your organisation. Even if your organisation does not award points for sharing, it is still beneficial to keep sharing with friends and family that may be a perfect fit for the role as if they are successful, you will earn referral points as they progress through the recruitment stages.
You can check out all points settings by clicking settings > points awarded per stage:
2. Have you already earned the maximum number of share points for the month?
All organisations have a set number of shares that each employee can earn points for per month. Any further shares made over this number will be added to your total share number but you will not earn points for these.
However! As mentioned above, it's always a great idea to keep sharing with people who would be a great fit for the team, because if someone expresses interest in a job as a result of your share (points awarded or not), you will still get the referral points for this person - plus these are usually worth more than the share points! 🤩
💡How to check your organisation's scheme rules:
Information on your organisation's share points (including how many shares you can receive points for each month) can be viewed by heading to the settings icon on the homepage and selecting ‘rules’ from the menu:
Here you will be able to view the scheme rules, Scroll down to the section titled: ‘What are the referral rewards?’ and under section a) you can see how many shares each month you can earn points for.
You can also click HERE to view a more detailed guide on viewing scheme rules in-app.
3. Are you completing your shares?
To ensure you earn the point(s) for sharing a job, don’t forget to hit send when sending the link via SMS or posting on social media!
If you are still not sure why you are not receiving points for sharing, then please get in touch with us by clicking the green chat icon in the bottom right of the screen with your full name and organisation and we will be more than happy to investigate this further for you.
