For an advert image to look its best when viewed in the app and when shared, it needs to be a landscape-oriented rectangular image, 1200 x 630 px in size.
Check out the steps below to adjust the image size in just a few clicks.
For Windows Users
Step 1: Open the image in 'Photos'
Step 2: Right-click on the image or click on the three-dot icon in the top toolbar above your image and select 'Resize image':
Step 3: In the 'Resize image' modal, select ‘Pixels’. Next, type 1200 into the 'width' field and 630 in the 'height' field, then click 'Save':
Please note! To ensure your image displays correctly, upload a landscape-oriented rectangle with dimensions of 1200 x 628 px. Accepted file types: PNG and JPEG.
The image has now been re-sized, and can now be included in your advert. Click HERE for a guide on adding an advert to your portal to share on the app.
Please note! If you have issues with adjusting the dimensions manually, see below for another option:
Step 1: Right-click on the photo and select 'Open with Paint'
Step 2: Click File and then 'Image properties':
Step 3: Enter 1200 as the width and 630 as the height
Step 4: Click OK
For Mac Users:
Step 1: Open the Image, click ‘tools’ at the top of the page, then click ‘adjust size’
Step 2: Check units are listed as pixels, as this is the format needed
Step 3: Untick 'Scale proportionally'
Step 4: Enter dimensions 1200 and 630 in the relevant fields and click ‘OK’:
Please note! To ensure your image displays correctly, upload a landscape-oriented rectangle. The ideal size is 1200 x 628 px. Accepted file types: PNG and JPEG.
Step 5: Click ‘File’ in the top left and then ‘Save’:
