Marked a payment as paid by mistake? Now you can revert this action in just a few clicks and this article will show you how.

Please note: Only users with permission to mark payment requests as paid can revert payment requests. Please speak to your line manager regarding your permissions as they can make any changes needed.

Step 1: Head to payments on the left, then click the history tab:

Step 2: Search for the name of the user you are looking to revert the payment for in the search box:

Step 3: Click on the undo arrow on the right of the request.

💡Top tip! Only the most recently paid payment can be reverted.

If the app user has submitted a subsequent payment request, the undo arrow will not appear. To correct this, simply reject their latest request then head back to the history tab where the arrow will now display.

Step 4: A pop-up message will appear on the screen, click continue to confirm this action.

Step 5: The payment has now been reverted.

This request will now appear back under the requests tab as approved, the requested amount will be returned to their app account and a note will appear on their points breakdown.

💡Top tip! We would advise sending a push notification to the user to let them know this payment has been reverted and the reason why.

We hope this helps. If you need any further support with reverting your payment requests, simply click on the green chat icon in the bottom right of the screen and we will be happy to assist you further.
