When a new candidate applies for a role at your organisation, their email and mobile number will be checked to ensure they are valid.

On their record, next to the contact card icon, a coloured flag (either green, amber or red) will now appear which will vary depending on the outcome of the validation check:

You can hover over the flag for more information on the validation for each candidate:

When exporting any of the candidate tabs, you will now see the validation status of each candidate in the contact details validation status column.

If you notice a high number of red-flagged candidates coming from the same referrer, we recommend reaching out to the referrer to find out more about how they are sharing and their connection to the candidates - you may also need to reiterate the scheme rules.

Validation Statuses Explained:

These are the various flags that can appear:

When an email will not be validated:

  • The email is in an incorrect format

  • It is a temporary email address

  • The address cannot receive inbound messages

When a mobile number will not be validated:

  • The mobile number is in an incorrect format

  • The mobile number is not registered

As always, if you have any questions, please click the green chat icon in the bottom right of your screen and we will be more than happy to support you further.
