How to create new automated email templates to send to ineligible candidates

Are you looking to create a more personalised email template to send to ineligible candidates? Look no further!

Step 1: Select Settings on the left, then Templates:

Step 2: Click +Add template at the top. Only users with manage account settings permissions can add a template:

Step 3: From here, you can add a title, sender, subject and message:

To add the sender, type the name of the user and select from the drop-down menu:

Step 4: Click the Subject field to enter your desired text:

Step 5: Click the Message field and enter the email text as desired. In this field, you can select bold, bullet points and emojis.

To add a hyperlink, click the link icon at the top of the message field:

Step 6: To add an autofill option, click on 'Insert Custom Field' and select the desired option.

When the email is sent, the correct values will be displayed depending on the candidate and the job applied for. Custom fields include the candidate's first name, sender's full name, job title and organisation name.

Step 7: Click Save:

And that's it! you have now added a new automated email template to your portal! ๐Ÿคฉ

To add your new template to a question, head to jobs on the left menu, click on the screening questions tab. From here, find the relevant question, click the three-dot icon and edit, click next and select your chosen email template from the drop-down menu.
