The candidate screening questions that are displayed at the bottom of your expression of interest forms can now be edited to allow you to select the candidate rejection criteria and edit the title wording.

Once updated, these can then be added to your jobs to enable you to auto-reject candidates that are not suitable for roles based on their driving status, or overseas status.

This helpful feature means that only eligible candidates who answer the question with your chosen outcome end up in your portal, ready to contact ☎️

Step-by-step guide:

❗Only users with manage account settings can edit question-wording and rejection options.

Step 1: Head to ‘Jobs’ on the left-hand navigation menu:

Step 2: Click Screening questions at the top:

❗FYI: For Care Friends users -Would this be your first paid role in care? is set as a required question and cannot be edited/removed.

Step 3: Click on the 3 dot icon to the right of the default questions, then edit to update the question text:

Step 4: Click in the first box and make edits as desired:

Step 5: Click Next:

Step 6: Click Save:

Step 1: Head to Jobs on the left-hand navigation, then Screening Questions at the top:

Step 2: Click on the 3 dot icon to the right of the auto-reject questions, then select edit:

These are the ones listed with this icon:

Step 3: Click Next

Step 4: Click the drop-down menu to select the given answer you wish to reject (Yes/No):

💡 Top tip! The default for the auto-reject options is set to ‘No’.

For example, if you select ‘No’ as your desired outcome, candidates who answer as such will not be displayed in the portal but will be informed of this outcome via email.

If you'd like to view the email template automatically sent to rejected candidates, click the 👁️ icon. You can learn how to edit these templates HERE:

Before saving, you will be alerted of how many jobs already have this auto-reject function switched on at the top of the page, so you are aware:

Step 5: Click Next, then Save.

Just to add: If this question is already added to a job, the outcome and/or wording will be updated to the most recent changes.

These screening questions are now ready to be added to your jobs 🎉
